Paul Florea

Paul Florea has been playing the violin for over 35 years & comes from a famous Romanian musicians family. His background, training & education have all prepared him well for working as a professional violinist, music teacher, composer, & entertainer. He also has over 20 years of international experience playing in hotels such as the Hilton, Marriott, Intercontinental, Sheraton, & Sofitel, among other places. He first came to Japan in 1998, as a violinist & entertainer at Huis Ten Bosch until 2004, where he was playing to large audiences in a big production. From 2004-2009 he had a contract in Yokohama to play at the German Alte Liebe Musikrestaurant, where he was able to get up close & personal with the audience & create lively & fun environments. Aside from these venues, Paul has also played at a lot of weddings & all kinds of events & on TV shows with famous Japanese stars too. He can play many different styles, from classical music, opera, jazz, pop, international hits, animation, screen, to Japanese music & any kind of request in-between from listening guests & customers. Paul feels that his music endears him to Japan, & that his calling is best represented here in cosmopolitan Tokyo by making the connection with Japanese & International people alike.
